In all of my travels, I have had interactions with many cultures, most of whom work with horses.  I have never seen an individual who has show more respect and compassion for horses than that shown by Bob Allen. 

His ability to see the obvious and his ability to read how the horse will react to certain actions is what this book is all about. This ability is what Bob is sharing with us. He wants to share these principles, which require respect and understanding for all beings, be they, animal or human. 

We are very fortunate, to be able to read the principles set out in this book. This is done in a manner that is easy to understand, because of Bob’s ability to communicate in his laid back, cowboy lingo. This book is easy reading and will make you laugh, and think of how our actions reflect the outcome of behavior. 

This is what we are looking for today, by using these principles we will have the ability to see how our actions towards our children can be more enriching and positive with regard to their behavior.  You will see that not only can we create positive and healthy children, but the whole family will receive benefit from this book.

I have had a personal experience in working with Bob. My wife and I adopted a wild mustang, some years ago while living in Austin, Texas. The horse was a full stud, very strong and powerful looking.  We understand the horse was from the original Spanish stock and came from the badlands of Nevada. We had moved to Arizona a few years later, and had the horse on our farm in Chandler. We fed the horse, and treated him with respect. We did not ride him, as he was not tamed yet; in fact, all we did was to feed him, and try to work with him a little.

It came to pass that we needed to have work done on his feet, so we call around town to see if someone would come to the farm and work on our horse. No trainers or farriers we contacted wanted to even try. They would all tell us that because the horse was a full stud and a mustang they would not want to take a chance working with a wild horse.

Through our contacts with some other horse folks we heard of Bob. It was said was that he was a horse whisperer.  We called Bob, he said that there would be no problem working with our horse, and that he would come to our farm and work with the horse.

If I had not been there, I would have never believed the results Bob had with our horse, “Kito”. After a short time of Bob working with the horse I was able to mount Kito, and ride him for an hour. Bob never mistreated Kito, by using the principles and techniques outlined in this book. It is quite unique to see how these ideas work, and how they are applicable to all of life.

Work they do, the horse was never in any kind of a stressful situation, and in fact just the opposite, the horse was relaxed and happy. Whether it be horse or human I believe Bob has a lot to offer society.

 Bob and Tammie have a wonderful family. In their interaction with their son, one can see the respect and love in their family. I know this book can help anyone willing to change the way families interact. We now, through this book have the tools to create interaction with our children, our families, and friends that will address bad behavior and replace this bad behavior with positive, healthy, and loving responses.
